Kyle is a war hero who was seriously injured during a mission and now spends his days drowning himself in alcohol. Heine, a tavern girl who secretly adores him, doused him with water to bring him back to his senses. She thought he'd be offended and never come back again, but instead he returned to help Heine around the tavern every chance he gets. As the distance between them grew closer, Heine fell more and more in love with Kyle. However, she was unable to express her feelings because she was worried about her exotic appearance, which often caused people to mistook her for a prostitute.
