あらすじ

中華街の煙の立ち込めた路地に佇むペットショップは、普通の動物ではなく、愛や夢といった抽象的な概念を具現化した魔法の生き物を販売している。店主はそれらを独自の契約と共に提供し、契約が破られた場合の責任は取らないと警告する。人間の本質を暗く切り取った、哲学的かつマカブレな物語である。
